We build our greenhouse and buy our tractor!
Hawaiʻi’s heavy rainfall and humidity can make it difficult to grow many crops consistently, with delicate plants especially vulnerable to mildew and fungal pressure. A greenhouse gives us the ability to protect these crops from the elements, extend growing seasons, propagate more starts, and dramatically increase what we can produce on the land. It means more food grown here, more plants for the village, and a stronger, more resilient farm.
